Simone Singh, Ph.D
Simone Singh, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Systems Administration at Georgetown University. Trained in accounting, economics, and health management, Dr. Singh's research agenda focuses on improving our understanding of accounting practices and financial management strategies of both healthcare and public health organizations. Her current research examines financial and legal aspects of not-for-profit hospitals’ provision of community benefits, especially in light of the recent reporting changes by the IRS and the community benefit provisions in the Affordable Care Act.
